This page documents currently available JJinLabs services, how to use them, and the practical limits you should know before processing your files.

Image Batch Resizer

Image Batch Resizer is the first public JJinLabs service. It is intended for situations where several images need the same resizing operation and processing them one at a time would be unnecessarily repetitive.

The service currently supports common browser-compatible image formats including JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Its public description states that selected files remain on the user's device and are not uploaded for server-side resizing.

How to use it

  1. Open the Image Batch Resizer from the service button above.
  2. Select or add the images you want to process. Use files you are authorized to edit.
  3. Choose the resizing settings shown by the tool. Review the target dimensions before starting a large batch.
  4. Run the resize operation and check the resulting images before discarding your originals.
  5. Save the resized output to the location you want to use for your project, upload, archive, or other workflow.

Keep your original files until you have verified the output. Resizing changes pixel dimensions and may reduce visible detail, especially when an image is made substantially smaller or encoded again in a lossy format.

File handling

For the current Image Batch Resizer, the service is designed to perform image processing in the browser. This means the selected source images do not need to be sent to a remote resizing server for the core operation.

The web page itself is still delivered over the internet, so standard request information can be processed by the hosting and network providers when the site is loaded. That is separate from the image-file processing workflow. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Practical limitations

  • Very large images or very large batches can consume significant browser memory and may be limited by the device you are using.
  • Image quality after resizing depends on the source image, target dimensions, image format, and any compression settings exposed by the tool.
  • A browser-based utility is not a substitute for a color-managed professional imaging workflow when exact print production or archival requirements apply.
  • Browser capabilities vary. A current desktop browser is recommended for larger batches.

JJinLabs will add other services to this page when they are public and ready to use. Planned tools are not listed as available services until they are actually deployed.
