FAQ

Common questions about JJinLabs.

These answers describe the site and the currently available Image Batch Resizer. Service behavior can change as tools are updated, so the service page remains the primary reference for current features.

What is JJinLabs?

JJinLabs is a portal for focused browser-based utilities. The aim is to solve narrow, repetitive tasks with clear controls rather than bundle unrelated functions into one large application.

What service is available now?

The first public service is Image Batch Resizer, which is designed for resizing multiple JPEG, PNG, and WebP files in a browser.

Are images uploaded when I use Image Batch Resizer?

The current service states that selected files stay on your device and are not uploaded for the resizing operation. The browser performs the core image processing locally.

Does local processing mean there is no network activity?

No. The website itself must still be delivered over the network, so normal request information can pass through hosting and security infrastructure. Local processing refers specifically to how the selected image content is handled for the resize operation.

Do I need an account?

The current public portal and Image Batch Resizer do not present account creation as a requirement for the documented workflow.

Which browser should I use?

A current desktop version of a modern browser is recommended, especially for large images or larger batches. Available memory and browser limits can affect how much data can be processed at one time.

Will resizing reduce image quality?

Reducing dimensions necessarily removes pixel information. Additional quality loss can also occur when a lossy format such as JPEG is encoded again. Keep the originals until you have checked the resized output.

Can I use the tool for professional print production?

You can resize files, but a simple browser utility is not a substitute for a fully color-managed prepress workflow when exact print profiles, proofing, or archival requirements are important.

Will JJinLabs add more tools?

Additional utilities may be added, but JJinLabs lists a service on the portal only after it is actually available. This avoids presenting planned ideas as finished products.

Does JJinLabs use advertising?

The site is prepared to disclose advertising practices if a service such as Google AdSense is enabled. See the Privacy Policy for the current wording and future advertising disclosure.
